iPhone 7 Might not have a Heaphone Jack

So there have been rumors going around about the iPhone 7 which is expected to release this September will not have the headphone jack. These rumors have sent some iPhone users into a craze with over 250,000 signing a petition to keep the headphone jack. It's believed they are doing this for a number of reasons, such as: for a new wrap around screen, to make the iPhone thinner and also for better sound quality with their lighting port.
Hopefully Apple thinks more on this topic and decides to keep the headphones. For more information on this visit the link.

Apple and Android Tracking You

In my search for an article I came across an article on Apple and Androids "location features" that most users are unaware of. These "features" pay attention to where you go and how long you stay there.  They also look at how often you're there and it's able to determine where you work and live. It can be turned off in the settings if you want to but even if you do, you can still be tracked through certain apps. For more on this click on the link.

Samsung's Smart Lens

Samsung has been working on the new smart contact lens that will most likely replace the smart glasses. The smart lens use a tiny display in the lens to project the images to your eyes. It could be controlled through blinking patterns and transmit the information to their smartphone. The image these lens would transmit would be extremely high quality compared to the old smart glasses that were taken off the market back in early 2015. Invisible Cloak

"Help!" Screamed Mr. Oswald. He was on the floor with a broken hip, and I'd been the only one who'd heard. Mr. Oswald had never liked me and he was a stubborn old man, so he wouldn't take my help, even if it meant being in pain for hours with a broken hip,
I didn't know what to do. Then I reached into my backpack and reached for my invisible cloak. I walked in and helped him up onto a couch. I then walked outside and called 911 to take him into the emergency room. I'd be an unknown hero.

Educational Technology and Copyright Law

In this article they taught us that:
  • The moment you create something (such as a doodle or a word) it is copyrighted.
  • Just because something is copyrighted does not mean other people cannot use it, it can be used in, "... criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching (including multiple copies for classroom use), scholarship, or research,".
  • Most images are allowed to be used for educational purposes, you are not allowed use of licensed images though.
  • Almost everything is copyrighted, but not everything is licensed.

Tech Article

So through my search for new technology for this article I found an Article about Port Adelaide training using virtual reality goggles and it got me to search for more about virtual reality goggles and uses for it. What I found was that most of what you find is expensive headsets worth $70-$300, but what no one sees or pays attention to is the google cardboard. It is only about $5 and works just as well. Web 2.0: Multimedia Blog Pre-Posting

One of the classes I'm taking is Biology. The Biology teacher is Ms. Larson. I expected to learn all about cells and things in our body and to date I have learned all about how cells work and what they do. I've also learned all about different types of organism and how they affect the environment. To get a grade we have to hand things in on time. A fun project we've had was the comic strip on Scientific Notation. We don't usually use computers or much technology, just books. I've always liked science classes.
